Building PCs

LHS students in Mr. Scott Lawson's Computer Maintenance Class have been building computers over the past two weeks. They have built the PCs at Cactus with the help from the LISD IT department. In all, they have built 22 PCs that will be used by LHS students. Wow, what a great skill to have! These skills are transferable to various fields that can be used after high school. Building computers fosters an understanding of how technology works, empowers students as "makers," and can open doors to STEM fields and career opportunities later. LHS is so proud of these courses and the work that Mr. Lawson puts into taking kids further!
