Learning Interview Skills

LHS students in Mrs. Gloria Gamez's General Empolyabiltity Skills Class are learning job interview skills: skills that we all need!  They were caught participating in a virtual workshop by Texas Vocational Rehab to improve their dialogue and interviews.  These students learned ways to prepare for interviews so that they presented their best selves.  They learned to do homework on the company they were interviewing so they would be knowledgeable about the job at hand.  They were reminded to dress for success, speak clearly, and look the interviewer in the eye.  These students will participate in mock interviews, using common interview questions so that they can build confidence.  They will reinforce their strengths and work on correcting weaknesses.  Thank you, Mrs. Gamez, for preparing LHS students for life after high school!
