As we continue through CTE month, we want to brag again on the LHS Veterinary Medical Applications class. Students seeking a career as a Veterinary Assistant or Veterinarian are in Miss Wilson and Brown's class and have been learning to suture! Suturing is the most common technique for the closure of wounds and is most successful when the appropriate material, needle, and pattern is used on the animal. These lucky students learned and practiced different suture patterns for various wound types, sizes, and anatomical location. A huge thank you goes out to College Animal Veterinary Clinic for donating the suture, enabling our kids to be successful! Once again, kudos to Miss Brown and Wilson for offering valuable skill development in this awesome class and helping students further their education after high school!
