LHS Educator Elected to TAVAC Board

As we close out CTE month, LISD is proud to announce that LHS's Gloria Gamez has been elected to the TAVAC Board of Directors. TAVAC is a Texas organization dedicated to serving students with disabilities through vocational training and positive post-secondary outcomes. Mrs. Gamez takes pride in her work at LHS, preparing students for post-high school outcomes involving employment, post-secondary education, and independent living in her CTEd classes. Serving on the TAVAC Board allows Mrs. Gamez to contribute to student success through representation and leadership. Congratulations, Mrs. Gamez, and thank you for representing your students, your classes, and LISD!
