Victoria Goes to State

LHS and Art teacher, Mr. Steven Suarez, announce that Junior Victoria Thongvanh received a Rating 4 in the Division 3 TAEA (Texas Art Education Association) VASE (Visual Arts Scholastic Event). Victoria received a Rating of 4 in the regional judging and was selected to go to the State Judging. They judge off a rubric, which scores their responses to a survey, how they created and their thoughts, and of the artwork itself. Victoria received a perfect score on her "Burned Out" piece, which allowed her to continue to the state judging. Congratulations, Victoria and Mr. Steven Suarez, for the great accomplishment!
