National FFA Week: LDEs

It's National FFA Week and CTE Month so we are highlighting FFA LDE's (Leadership Development Events). LDE's focus on creating situations for FFA members to demonstrate their abilities in public speaking, decision making, communication, and their knowledge of agriculture and the FFA organization. Levelland FFA is very competitive. We had 12 teams compete at the District contest and 7 of those teams advanced to the Area Contest and 2 advanced to the State contest. Each year there are over 5,000 teams across the state ranging from 1A-6A schools. This year Levelland FFA had 43 awesome FFA members learn real-world skills that they can use after High School to help them succeed in the path they take!
