Loboettes Make All-District Team

Congratulations to nine Loboettes that made the All-District Team! LHS shares this news because being on the All-District Team means they are the best players, by position, that participate in the same district. Head Coaches nominate their players for the positions but vote on the other rival players to determine who earns 1st, 2nd, and honorable mention. Many factors go into a nomination which includes how that athlete performed in district play: minutes played during the season, statistics, work ethic, attitude, and how that athlete is looked upon by opposing coaches. LHS Junior Emma Kent made the All-District Team as Most Valuable Player. LHS Junior Myka Graf made the All-District Team as Best Defensive Player. The LHS All-district First Team Players include Seniors Allie Latham and Michaela Watkins, and Sophomore Laci White. LHS Senior Mahalie Stafford made the All-District second team. The All-district Honorable Mention Team includes Senior Mallary Blocker, and Juniors Colbi Barnett and Raegan LaBadie. And finally, earning and keeping a 95% Academic Average and making the Academic All-District Team are Michaela Watkins, Mahalie Stafford, Allie Latham, Emma Kent, Myka Graf, Colbi Barnett and Laci White. We are so proud of these girls, the entire Loboette Team and Coach Barnett, Coach Ochoa, Coach Riggan!
