Powerlifters Set Records!

The LHS Boys Powerlifting Team competed at the Regional powerlifting meet over the weekend. Skylar Davis finished 1st and broke the regional deadlift record in the 181 lb. weight class by lifting 590 pounds. He qualified for state. Jason Ramirez finished 2nd in the 114 lb. weight class. Jason also qualified for state. He broke the Regional bench press record in his class with a weight of 230 lbs. Nathan Rendon finished 5th in the 114 lb. weight class. RJ Lopez also competed in the 114 lb. weight class. We are extremely proud of these guys and their hard work and are excited to compete at the state meet. Skylar and Jason will compete at the state powerlifting meet on March 27 in Abilene at the Taylor County Expo Center. Congratulations guys!
